ZASTOSOWANIE

Hoshin Kanri może mieć różna zastosowanie w organizacji. Może być wykorzystywane jako metoda planowania strategicznego i narzędzie do zarządzania złożonymi projektami, system zarządzania jakością, który gwarantuje, że nowe produkty powstają w firmie jako odpowiedź na potrzeby i wymagania klientów, lub też jako system operacyjnyprzedsiębiorstwa, który gwarantuje stabilny wzrost jego zysków. Hoshin Kanri jest także metodą zarządzania między funkcyjnego i integrowania szczupłego łańcucha dostaw. Można też powiedzieć, że w praktyce Hoshin Kanri jest metodą nauczania w organizacji prowadzącą do zwiększania jej konkurencyjności na rynku. Hoshin Kanri jest między innymi sposobem na bezkonfliktowe propagowanie celów strategicznych organizacji na niższe poziomy zarządzania oraz sposobem integracji celów długookresowych z celami krótkoterminowymi. Hoshin Kanri powstał w Japonii, na początku lat 80-tych został rozwinięty i sformalizowany, stanowi jeden z filarów TQM. Umożliwia skutecznie skoncentrować działania organizacji na najważniejszych zadaniach i celach. Działania wg Hoshin Kanri realizowane są w następujących etapach:

  • określenie misji i wizji w aspekcie ogólnej strategii;
  • zdefiniowanie celów strategicznych (3 – 5 lat );
  • zdefiniowanie celów rocznych;
  • kaskadowanie celów na niższe szczeble;
  • wdrażanie celów;
  • przeglądy realizacji celów;
  • roczna ocena realizacji przyjętych celów.
